A new marketing manager and a new marketing executive are ringing in the changes across the site - encouraging greater visitor engagement, better customer service and implementing a bigger and better communications strategy than ever before.
Both hailing from the Cornish community, each is aware of the unique qualities of Cornwall and they are proud to represent such well-renowned Cornish attraction and international destination.
Alice Reynolds, Marketing Manager, has been working with Land’s End over the last year before being promoted to her new role in December. Alice is a former National Trust employee with considerable media and event management experience and a passion for promoting tourism in Cornwall.
Josh Fletcher, Marketing Executive, was previously employed within the marketing team at St Justin Jewellery and was brought into the department at Land’s End during February. Josh has experience and enthusiasm for digital marketing which he has already demonstrated, on a freelance basis, with various other businesses in Penwith.
Alice and Josh will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive communications strategy for the various aspects of the business at Land’s End; the Land’s End attractions, retail, catering, The Land’s End Hotel and Restaurant, The First and Last Inn and the self-catering accommodation, The Saddle and Stablerooms.
David Bryans, General Manager of Land’s End said:
‘A fresh approach to marketing is really what’s needed within this business; these two are already making a substantial impact and are representative of the new vision we have for the future of Land’s End.
I feel confident that our new marketing team have really taken to heart the needs of our customers and the local community and this will be the driving force behind the success of Land’s End.’
