Posted on Oct 12, 2016
Beware of ghoulish goings-on and spooky shenanigans at the westernmost point of Cornwall and England this Halloween, as Land’s End gears up for a haunted half term spooktacular.
Children and parents alike can look forward to a range of scary seasonal activities between Saturday 22nd October and Friday 28th October, with a free Halloween Craft Cavern running all week; where young ones can draw, cut and glue together the scariest Halloween monster they can imagine.
Additionally, talented story-teller and actor, Mark Harandon, will be on hand all day on Monday 24th and Wednesday 26th October, with a library of captivating ghost stories to leave the young and the young at heart on the edge of their seats.
Children will also have the opportunity to make a tremendously terrifying transformation on Tuesday 25th and Thursday 27th with free spooky face painting between 11:00am and 4:00pm.
The fun doesn’t stop there, as you are invited to explore four fang-tastic family attractions including The Shaun the Sheep Experience, and the hair-raising Arthur’s Quest – where visitors can look forward to meeting the terrifying dragon and navigating the mirror maze.
Residents of Cornwall can look forward to free parking and half-price attractions tickets throughout the event with a Local’s Pass. The Local’s Pass is valid all year-round and is obtainable through the Land’s End Visitor Centre, by simply bringing a passport-sized photograph and proof of Cornish residency (e.g. utility bill, bank statement or phone bill) on the day.
