Eggs-citing Easter at Land’s End!
Posted on Mar 21, 2014
Spring is here, the Land’s End wildlife is awakening, Easter is on the horizon and there’s a real buzz around the site!
Preparations are well underway here as we strive to ensure everything is in place for the influx of visitors this Easter. From St Just to St Mawgan and from Brussels to Beijing, male or female – there really is something for everyone at Land’s End!
Throughout the Easter holidays, Land’s End will be running a ‘Bio-Blitz’ campaign, brand new for 2014! The campaign encourages visitors to explore and roam the 100 acres of land that flourishes in the Cornish springtime; counting and surveying the bugs, beasties and creatures they meet on the way.
The incredible interactive attractions such as The 4D Film Experience and Arthur’s Quest are open for visitors to enjoy from 10am until 4pm daily and perhaps most exciting of all Greeb Farm’s new intake of fluffy chicks and playful piglets is just around the corner!
After a winter of maintenance and refurbishment, The West Country Shopping Village is now operating on full-opening hours, available from 10am until 4pm daily for visitors to pop in and pick-up authentic Cornish delicacies, treats and gifts.
Over the Easter period, visitors can treat themselves to great deals such as: half-price St Justin earrings with every full-price necklace and two Cornish Bite energy drinks for £2 at The West Country Shopping Village.
If it is hungry-tums you’re looking to satisfy, then The Land’s End Hotel & Restaurant are currently offering a delicious homemade cream tea for only £6.95, including a pot of tea, two scones as well as a generous serving of Boddington’s jam and Trewithen Cornish clotted cream.
Of course, no Easter would be complete without a Children’s Easter Egg Hunt; every day over Easter weekend we will be running an Easter Egg Hunt, giving your kids the chance to use their initiative to seek out chocolaty treats!
