10 things to make sure you see this summer at Land's End

It’s that time of year again here at the westernmost point of Cornwall, where we have an epically exciting line up of entertainment for all the family to enjoy.
Take a sneak peak at some of the acts we have coming up, and plan your time here to make sure you get to see all of the best bits…
- Titan the Robot
One definitely not to be missed… the world famous Titan the Robot!
Join us at Land’s End for our Children’s Day event on the 3rd August where this fantastically funny and entertaining robot will be providing comedic entertainment for all to enjoy.
Having been on stage with the likes of Rhianna, Will.I.Am, and JLS, as well as travelling to events across the globe such as the Formula 1, this is a mega-star robot you will definitely want to get a glimpse of this summer!
- UK Garrison
You’re in for a real treat as we are joined by some of Star Wars’ best-known military personnel here at the westernmost point. As part of our Children’s Day event on 3rd August you can look forward to seeing these iconic characters wandering across the site throughout the day, taking time out from their missions across the galaxy.
- Stone Roots
Enjoy evening entertainment with the ridiculously talented funk-pop group Stone Roots!
Taking musical inspiration from the likes of Sia, Paloma Faith, and Stevie Wonder, this energetic 4-piece group will definitely get you up on your feet as you enjoy a summer evening at Land’s End.
Nominated as ‘Best Music Act’ in the 2016 What’s On Cornwall Awards, and receiving regular airplay on BBC Introducing, this group have gathered a strong fan base here in Cornwall, and are even due to play at Boardmasters this summer!
- Star Gun Company
Nothing says Pirate Day at Land’s End quite like some live piratical battles with cannons and guns shooting against the dramatic Cornish coastal backdrop.
Look forward to encountering this experience during both of our Pirate Day’s this summer – 25th July & 17th August.
- Slap Dash Trio
A crowd favourite here at Land’s End, Slap Dash Trio will be back for some superb sundown entertainment, throughout the summer building excitement and energy before our firework displays.
This 3-piece band play a variety of music that always gets the crowd dancing and singing – great fun, whether you’re young or young at heart!
- Billy Wiz
A crowd favourite, Billy Wiz, is back throughout our jam-packed summer event schedule! This wildly funny magic act will have everyone laughing from start to finish, wowing children and adults alike with his magic tricks and sense of silly humour, and with the help of his equally funny side-kick rabbit – Dusty!
- Boundless Brothers
This hugely popular contemporary Cornish pop/rock/folk band will once again be joining us for evening entertainment in the build up to our firework displays.
The band takes musical inspiration from musicians such as: Bastille, The Script, and Mumford & Sons to name but a few, giving everyone those feel good vibes as they treat the audience to their own unique style of fantastic live music.
- Captain Benbow
Look forward to a guest appearance from Captain Benbow – mascot for the Cornish Pirates rugby team.
He’ll be wandering around site, fully kitted in his pirate attire ready for photo opportunities on our Pirate Day here at the westernmost point. Grab your camera, as this is a photo you won’t want to miss.
- Swamp Circus
Visiting us on three occasions during July & August – you can look forward to circus acts from Swamp Circus!
Having toured 28 different countries, walked 872 tightropes, and juggled 462 balls; this team of acrobats, dancers, and street performers know how to entertain a crowd!
Don’t miss their aerial rig show – a real spectacle on 24th August.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean; enjoy 12 displays of pyrotechnical wizardry here at the westernmost point, as we take you on a magical, musical journey retelling the story of the ‘Lost Land of Lyonesse’.
Featuring the vocal talents of BAFTA award-winning actress Miriam Margolyes, and an original orchestral score created by Cornish composer Christopher Bond – this WOCA Award-nominated musical firework display is something for the whole family to enjoy every Tuesday & Thursday, between 25th July – 31st August.
Don’t forget, as well as all of this fantastic entertainment, our 4 family attractions, eateries, and retail outlets are all open daily through the summer here at Land’s End.
